The Irish Times- SLATED Dip Dish
The SLATED Dip Dish made a big impact when we launched it, what better place for it to launch than the Irish Times Magazine.
Marie Claire Digbys wonderful column The Food File is the best place to find all the latest news in relation to food.

Here at SLATED we are rather passionate about our process, and when looking to collaborate on the SLATED Dip Dish, we were instantly drawn to the work of John Ryan Ceramics a master craftsman with over 28 years of experience in the world of Ceramics.
The inspiration for John’s pieces comes the rugged beauty of Sligo, functional and decorative stoneware ceramics, the perfect match for the simplicity of our beautiful hand cut Slate.
The SLATED Dip Dish
We have always dreamed of collaborating with a maker using the same traditional skills as SLATED and now we have, we are delighted to present the SLATED Dip Dish with three stunning bowls hand thrown in Sligo by John Ryan Ceramics.
John set up his own studio in 1997 in the rural heartland of South County Sligo where he has been making functional and decorative stoneware ceramics for the past 20 years drawing inspiration from the simplicity and beauty of the surrounding landscape of the west of Ireland.
All the pieces are hand thrown by John on the potter’s wheel then fired to stoneware temperature and decorated in food safe glazes which John has created himself, all this makes John’s work food safe, dishwasher and oven proof.
Each SLATED piece is hand packed in our signature gift packaging before making its way to your home to be used and loved.
