The Paddle Board

Please note.

We cannot begin to explain how grateful we are for the overwhelming support SLATED have experienced of late. As a result, we have run out of our signature gift packaging!

So for now your stunning gifts will be securely, but plainly packed. The beauty is on the inside and it’s what is on the inside that matters.

Slated’s striking Paddle Board combines beech wood and slate in a considered use of materials. Combining two incredibly naturally beautiful materials, this handcrafted piece serving platter is perfect for anyone who love the sturdiness of solid wood combined with the raw beauty of slate. Here at Slated we absolutely adore copper and felt that adding a copper element in the form of three copper studs tied the piece together beautifully, merging all the materials together perfectly. The ideal piece to make a statement when serving guests.

All our slate pieces are cut by hand with a 150 year old slaters knife by Ed Hammond in our Dublin studio meaning each piece is completely unique. Our beautiful natural slate pieces all have their own individually textured surface being uniquely ridged or veined and are backed with felt feet to prevent slippage. Just as all our slate pieces are cut by hand our wooden pieces are handcrafted in Ireland by some of the country’s finest craftsmen. All our gorgeous beech boards all have their own individual texture and pattern meaning no two boards are alike and each piece is completely unique.

Each Slated piece is hand packed in our signature gift packaging before making its way to your home to be used and loved.

Made in Ireland.
